Hammersen is one of Europe's leading building specialists in the field of innovative roof and facade solutions for large-scale industrial and commercial construction. The company was founded in 1988 by engineer, Ludgerus Hammersen – out of a fascination for the economic and technical possibilities of systematic building with metal.

Our management is made up of the managing directors, Bernhard Lindemann and Lars Hammersen. Hand in hand with a specialised team, they dedicate themselves to the central task of creating the best conditions for an efficient, high-quality and sustainable way to carry out our construction projects. Sustainability at Hammersen has many dimensions. First and foremost, it is expressed in responsible corporate management based on values that not only focus on success, but also on the conditions under which it arises. We are aware of the fact that every action has consequences – for our employees, customers and partners. As a family-run business, this responsibility is particularly important to us. That is why we are certified according to AMS BAU (01/2015) and NLF/ILO/OSH-MS 2001 and have been carrying out accident-free installation work on roofs and facades throughout Europe for many years.
Our services and products.
For us, sustainable planning and construction means looking at each building individually and holistically. Every single building product influences the ecological quality of the entire structure. For almost all of the products we use, we can provide a scientifically sound data basis for the assessment of ecological building quality on the basis of internationally recognised Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). All EPDs are certified according to EN 15894 and DIN EN ISO 14025. This allows sustainable projects to be realised with the aim of building certification according to, for example, DGNB, BNB, LEED or BREEAM.

Hammersen has been involved in various social projects as well as in the fields of culture and sport since the company was founded. In addition to donations, the voluntary commitment of our employees is essential for our social commitment.
We gladly encourage our employees to take this path together with us - to contribute to social interaction with open eyes and an upright gait. A good example is the project "Handschlag", in which, above all, our trainees enjoy participating regularly. With the help of Osnabrück companies, many tangible projects for disadvantaged children and adolescents have been implemented in recent years. The success of such work reinforces our attitude: society thrives on participation.
